"I learned precision under pressure as an IDF medic in Israel. I learned systems and professionalism at Delta Air Lines. But I learned true resilience in the North Dakota oil fields — when the market crashed, I had 35 properties and $1.3M in debt. Most investors would have walked away. I didn't. That crucible forged the investor I am today."
Born and raised in Israel, Adam served as a medic in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), where he developed discipline, quick decision-making, and the ability to stay calm under extreme pressure. Those skills would prove invaluable in real estate decades later.
After military service, Adam moved to the United States and joined Delta Air Lines, bringing the same precision and professionalism that defined his military career. But the entrepreneurial pull was too strong to ignore.
In 2011, Adam moved to North Dakota during the historic oil boom. The state was booming — jobs were everywhere, housing was scarce, and investors were making fortunes. Adam jumped in, acquiring 35 rental properties to serve the flood of oil field workers. Then, in 2014, oil prices collapsed. The boom turned to bust overnight.
Most investors panicked and sold at a loss. Adam held on. With $1.3M+ in debt across 35 suddenly under-performing properties, he had two choices: quit or innovate. He chose to fight. He restructured deals, negotiated with lenders, found creative financing solutions, and turned distressed assets into performing investments. He didn't just survive the crash — he learned systems that would define his entire investing philosophy.
In 2016, Adam relocated to Des Moines, Iowa, drawn by the city's stable economy, landlord-friendly laws, affordable prices, and strong rental demand. He brought the hard-won lessons from North Dakota and applied them to a market primed for growth. Today, Adam manages 160+ doors across Iowa, specializing in buy-and-hold rentals, contract sales (seller financing), land development, and commercial acquisitions. His goal: 2,000 doors by 2030.
Adam's competitive advantage isn't just experience — it's battle scars. He's seen the worst a market can throw at an investor and came out stronger. He knows how to structure deals that survive economic downturns, how to find opportunity when others see risk, and how to turn creative financing into win-win outcomes.
